Dmitri is just spectacular as Figaro. He fits the role so well, facial expression, hand gestures, position and all! Marvelous performance.

Such a wonderful production this was! The staging, costumes, and set were truly spectacular. I truly enjoyed the beauty of this production, bravo to the FGO for hiring such talent to create the setting for the two doomed young lovers. The cast chorus did a great job I thought.
Maria Alejandres was absolutely phenomenal. What great talent, such a beautiful lyric voice with a strong bel canto usage i’d say. It’s a wonder why I never heard of her before!
Sebastien Gueze always performs with such expression and emotion. His acting was outstanding and his singing was heart grabbing.
The chemistry these two possessed was unmatchable. Such beauty these two voice created when their notes intermingled and battled. Such a great performance, bravo!

Countertenor David Daniels sings “Ombra mai fu” from Handel’s Opera Xerxes at the Richard Tucker Foundation Gala in New York, 1997.
Daniels is so expressive in not only his singing but his facial expression as well, he is a truly great artist.

Soprano Natalie Dessay sings “Spargi d’amore pianto” from Gaetano Donizettti’s opera Lucia di Lammermoor.
Dessay is such an outstanding actress, and her voice just floats so effortlessly and beautifully. She is definitely one of the best Lucia’s that ever played the role! Along with Joan Sutherland, of course.
